Littlehampton street's parking nightmare

My husband is eighty but is one of the most careful, courteous drivers you could wish to meet.

So imagine our despair when we were involved in an incident which I feel was not our fault.

We live in Westfield Court and our driveway backs right onto Norfolk Road.

Even the authorities have admitted it’s an accident waiting to happen .

Well now it has and they still say their hands are tied.

Because there are no yellow lines on our side of the road, cars are allowed to park .

You cannot see what is coning down Norfolk Road.

Si imagine the hazard if a large van parks there which they often do.

I think I speak for all car owners in Westfield Court when I say we are fed up with taking our lives in our hands.

I would also like to add that the speed some cars come down there is unbelievable.
