Worthing Rugby Club is ready for new season

WORTHING RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB has been making sure all the preparations are in place for their upcoming clash with Southend RFC at Roundstone Lane on September 5.

Having been promoted at the end of the 2007/2008 season into the National Leagues (top 60 clubs in the country) the Raiders were able to hold on to their National League status last season with a young team, many of whom have risen through the ranks from Mini rugby to Senior rugby at Worthing RFC.

There have been big changes within the coaching staff and the squad this season in a bid to further progress the Worthing Raiders through the National League rankings. Ex- England International prop Will Green has taken over the role of Head Coach from Ian Davis and has brought with him some well known faces.
