SHIATSU SHOWS THE WAY TO HEALTHY FUTURE

AFTER 30 years spent successfully running the Southdown Equestrian and RDA group at Newbrook Farm in Upper Beeding, Jill and Rupert Blake have moved on to a bright future concentrating on her highly successful Sussex School of Equine Shiatsu.

Shiatsu courses run by Jill will be based in future at three top yards, at Albourne, Warninglid and Pease Pottage, all of which have outstanding facilities.

Meanwhile, the last riding lessons have been held at her former base at Newbrook Farm and Jill's own horses, including fell ponies and her own riding horse, Irish sports horse Dee, have been happily relocated to idyllic stables on the South Downs.

Thanks to Jill's enthusiasm and hard work, Southdowns Riding for the Disabled became a flourishing group while based at Newbrook Farm, enabling children from Portslade's Hillside School and a few adults from elsewhere to enjoy the freedom offered by supervised riding.

At the same time, numerous able-bodied children learned to ride with Jill, while the RDA group had weekly sessions using her ponies at Newbrook Farm.
