PHIL'S ON FIRE WITH SUCCESSIVE HAT-TRICKS

EAST PRESTON Football Club striker Phil Churchill fired two injury-time goals at Eastbourne Town on Saturday to complete his second hat-trick in the space of four days.

After netting a treble against Whitehawk in EP's 4-0 Brighton Charity Cup win last Wednesday, Churchill helped extend EP's unbeaten league run to eight games with his late strikes.

EP boss Mark Chaplin said: "Phil was great. He's done an excellent job for us out wide the last couple of weeks and he's done ever so well and know he's getting the goals as well.

"I think a few texts were sent to Josh Biggs after the game because Phil's now joint top-scorer with 12 goals."
