Jim given Hants stable jockey role
JOCKEY Jim Crowley has been appointed as stable jockey to trainer Ralph Beckett next year, following his highly successful season, highlighted in last week's WSG.
Beckett, who is based at Whitsbury Manor Racing Stables, Fordingbridge, in neighbouring Hampshire, had been impressed by the jockey's performance and described him as 'underrated'.
From 1010, Beckett will have first claim on him but it is expected that where possible Jim will still ride for his sister-in-law, Amanda Perrett.
