In-form trainer John Dunlop holds open day at Castle Stables on Sunday May 31

DON'T miss the chance visit Castle Stables, Arundel, on Sunday when trainer John Dunlop is holding his biennial open day.

The highlight at the event, which takes place from 10am-1pm will be the chance to win a share in a racehorse with all-expenses paid for two seasons of training.

A raffle is being held at this enormously popular biennial event, to win a 725 share in Goodwood Diva, a two-year-old filly working steadily towards her racecourse debut, with money raised going to local charities.

Goodwood Diva is one of two horses under the ownership of Goodwood Racehorse Owners Group, known as Grog, which has 200 memebrs for each horse in the group.

They enjoy not only seeing their horses race, but also social events throughout the year. Goodwood Diva will race as a juvenile and as a three-year-old, and will then be sold, with all monies being distributed between the owners.

The filly is heading towards her racecourse debut and is in good company, with horses from the stables getting off to a good winning start.

A second horse in the group, Goodwood Maestro, stormed to an 11-1 win at Goodwood earlier this month on his racecourse debut.
