Chartham Park ladies win Mid Sussex Ladies Invitation

The Mid Sussex Ladies Invitation was held on Tuesday 12th August in very testing, windy conditions, which luckily kept the heavy shower at bay.

Eighteen golf clubs were represented by the guests, who came from as far away as Hertfordshire and Hampshire.

After the competition, the ladies enjoyed a delicious two course meal, followed by the presentation of the prizes.

The format for the competition was four ball better ball and pictured with the Lady Captain, Di Beningfield, are the winners, Janet Arthur and Cynthia Ramage (Chartham Park) 46 pts. Second were Winsome Walker and Margo Mulvey (Copthorne), 42 pts; Third: Val Diprose and Jenni Ferguson (Oak Park) 40 pts c/b: Fourth: Cathy Jones and Fiona Drew (Cottesmore) 40 pts.
