Golds grab first win

A DAZZLING first-half performance grabbed Littlehampton their first league win of the season on Saturday, when they proved too good for ten-man Southwick at Old Barn Way.

Going into the game, Wickers were without a goal in three games, having conceded 13, and Golds manager Andy Taylor reckoned his side needed to grind out a win in order to kick-start their season.

Grant Vanson (left) produced five useful crosses from the right in that time, all of which could have produced goals one of which did.
