GB running ace to hand out awards

The talented teenage athlete from Pett has just returned from China where she was representing Great Britain at the World Cross-Country Championships.

The prize-giving evening will take place at Azur at the Marina Pavilion from 6pm for 7pm and organisers Hastings Lions Club are asking runners to return their sponsor forms, or let them know how much they’ve raised for charity, as soon as possible.

The 2015 Hastings Half Marathon only took place a couple of weeks ago, but entries are already open for the next year’s event on Sunday March 20, 2016 at www.hastings-half.co.uk

Organisers are also appealing for the public’s support in its quest to win a national award. The race has been shortlisted in the running events - half marathon category in the 2015 Running Awards and you can vote for it by visiting www.therunningawards.com
