OddsMonkey has taken a look at how each Premier League team copes when the ball change comes into play.

Of all the Premier League teams, only seven teams play better with the winter version as opposed to the usual white ball – although two others (Liverpool and West Ham) don’t actually see any difference.

Looking at the findings, Manchester United benefit most from the switch to the brighter ball – they are some 0.26 points better off since the winter ball was introduced back in 2004.

Jose Mourinho's side will hope their better results with the yellow ball continue this afternoon, when they host Everton at Old Trafford.

Bournemouth and Tottenham also prefer the yellow ball and are 0.16 points per game better off, just ahead of Everton.

Huddersfield Town register an extra 0.1 per game over the winter period, while Wolves (0.05) and Brighton (0.02) also normally see a slight up turn, during the period the winter ball is used which lasts up to March.
