Mullets versus EP postponed
ARUNDEL Football Club’s home County League Division 1 game with East Preston this evening has been postponed owing to the flooding on Mullets’ pitch.
Arundel had been hopeful that the game might go ahead last week when the flooding drained. However, heavy rain last week and high tides over the weekend caused the pitch to flood again.
There was some hope that the game could be played at Wick’s Crabtree Park ground but the heavy rain scuppered those plans.
Mullets’ match with Crowborough on Saturday, which was scheduled to take place at Mill Road, will now be at Crowborough.
