Five-year-old Harry takes his chance
YOUNG Harry Funnell made his debut for Blackboys at the tender age of five in the club's friendly against Warlingham.
After weeks of training and practice and mainly due to two late withdrawals from the team, Harry got his big chance and let nobody down. Never wavering in concentration, Harry made 11 stops fielding at fine leg.
After the match he was presented with a fixture card signed by all the players as a memento to mark the occasion.
Warlingham closed on 160-6 and Blackboys had made 67-0 when rain forced abandonment of the game.
