The College competed against Worksop, Bloxham and Ellesmere, and took the trophy with a 6 wicket win against Worksop, a 205 run victory over Bloxham and a 6 wicket victory over Ellesmere. Tom Haines and Joe Ludlow topped the runs scored statistics whilst Bill Barker, Dom Keats and George Garton were the main wicket-takers.

The 1st XI has recorded 14 wins this season, losing only 4. Notable victories were achieved over Whitgift, Brighton College, RGS Guildford and the MCC. Joe Ludlow notched up 900 runs and George Garton scored the best part of 600 runs and also took 20 wickets. Both George Garton and Tom Haines have represented the Sussex 2nd XI during the school term and it is encouraging to know that 8 of this side will return for the 2015 campaign.

With a number of players in the Sussex CCC Academy and the Emerging Players Programme, the future is looking bright for cricket at Hurst.
