CLAY SHOOTING
TWO local sporting clay shooting clubs, the White Lion of Thakeham and the Elephant and Castle of West Chiltington met for a charity shoot recently which raised £335 for Macmillan Nurses.
Held at the West Chiltington shooting ground, the wind played havoc with the clays making it a competitive occasion. It is planned to hold two of these shoots each year, hosted by the clubs alternately.
