Champs again after 33 years

HAM Manor ladies' team have won the Sussex County Ladies' Golf Association Division One Championship.

They triumphed in their group and went on to beat Bognor Regis in the quarter-final and Worthing in the semi-final.

They defeated Cottesmore 5-2 in a nail-biting finish to win the championship at The Dyke Golf Club in Brighton on Friday, September 12.

Lady captain Julie Green said: "I am so proud of the team. We last won this championship in 1975 and it is making a very welcome return to Ham Manor."
