Woman bitten in pub punch-up

Shocked diners looked on as the fight broke out in the Robin Hood at 6.20pm on October 5.

The incident is believed to have started when a woman allegedly used a stiletto heel to damage a white Vauxhall Insignia estate car belonging to another woman.

The incident led to the pair wrestling on the ground before two more women attacked the car owner, biting her several times on the back.

She also sustained cuts and bruising in the melee.

A Sussex Police officer investigating the incident said: “The pub was busy with customers having meals at the time and we are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward.”
