Woman, 80, ejected from public meeting

An 80-year-old West Sussex woman was 'ushered' out of a public meeting by two women who threatened to call security guards after she challenged the South East England Regional Assembly on its 'lack of democracy'.

In a situation reminiscent of the ejection of 82-year-old Walter Wolfgang from the Labour Party Conference in Brighton last year, Jean Allison was ejected from the meeting at Hove Town Hall after protesting against what she described as 'the undemocratice, unelected and unaccountable organisation SEERA'.
