Ford Parish Council organised the meeting last Friday, January 10, in response to plans to build a waste management plant capable of generating enough energy for 29,000 homes.

Councillors argue the plant could release ‘untold number of pollutants into the air’ – something the company behind the plans, Grundon, says is not true.
