Two brothers banned from parts of Worthing

TWO brothers have been banned from parts of Worthing after terrorising neighbours.

John Taylor, 23, and David Taylor, 21, were made the subject of a Anti Social Behaviour Order injunction on Monday which prohibits them from entering Meadow Road in East Worthing after Worthing Homes Ltd took them to court.

The brothers had been squatting in a property in Meadow Road, owned by Worthing Homes.

During the hearing, the court was told of their "appalling history of anti social behaviour".

The terms of the court order, which is valid for two years, the brothers are forbidden from:

'¢Assaulting or threatening to assault residents of, or visitors to, Meadow Road, Worthing.

'¢Using foul, abusive or insulting words at, or in the hearing of, the persons stated in paragraph 1 above.

'¢Acting in a manner that causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to any person stated in paragraph 1 above.

'¢Entering the land bordered by Meadow Road and Brookdean Road, Worthing West Sussex and the properties 82 to 92 Meadow Road Worthing.

A power of arrest is attached to the injunction for two years and if found guilty of breaching the above terms they face up to two years imprisonment, a fine, or both.
