Road closed after serious collision in Southease
The collision took place on the A26 at the Southease Turnoff and is affecting traffic between Newhaven and Lewes.
A lorry and motorbike were involved, according to travel reports.

Hide AdLewes Police said: “We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A26 near Southease.
“Road closures are in place and disruption is expected for several hours.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding while this incident is ongoing.”
The East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said in a tweet: “Due to a serious RTC, the A26 between Newhaven and Lewes has been closed. Please avoid the area.”
