Thousands to flock to Arundel’s Fairtrade fair

THOUSANDS of people are expected to flock to the grounds of Arundel Castle on Saturday (November 1) for the town’s Fairtrade and Ethical Christmas Fair.

Organisers are hoping this year will be the best one yet, with a bumper crop of goods and gifts set to be on offer.

The event is a great opportunity for some early Christmas shopping as it brings together more than 50 small, independent producers and suppliers of fairly-traded, ethical and sustainable goods.

Organised by the Arundel Fairtrade group, it has become one of the largest events of its kind in West Sussex.

The array of products up for sale is set to be as impressive as ever.

Everything on offer will be housed in large marquees and pagoda tents against the splendid autumnal backdrop of the historic battlements of the castle.

Entry to the fair is free and it will be open from 10am-5pm.
