Tesco in move to ease road chaos at branches

A range of measures has been agreed by Tesco to ease congestion at its Aldwick and Pagham convenience stores.

The company has promised to consolidate deliveries, look at the route delivery drivers follow and whether cones can be used to stop drivers from parking outside the layby at the Aldwick Road branch.

Its drivers will also be asked for their views. The measures are aimed at easing congestion in front of the branch and the one in Pagham Road. The issue has been consistently raised at meetings of the joint western Arun area committee.
