Swimming group celebrates achievements of 2013

A SWIMMING group for people with a range of disabilities celebrated successes from 2013 at a recent annual meeting.

Sussex Squids, a swimming club which meets at Littlehampton Swimming Support Centre, in Sea Road, celebrated achievements from 2013 at a meeting last Saturday.

In the past year the club has attended two galas and hosted its own annual gala at Inspire Felpham leisure centre.

As a team they have won 23 gold medals, 25 silver medals, 20 bronze medals and 12 individual achievement and team achievement cups.

The competitive swimming group for people of all ages, which is run by volunteers, usually meets on the last Saturday of the month at Littlehampton Swimming Support Centre.
