Supermaket on stilts planned for Bognor Regis
A NEW Bognor supermarket built on stilts, with parking underneath, could replace the current Morrisons store in Bedford Street if a planning application is successful.
Morrisons has submitted a detailed planning application to Arun District Council for the comprehensive redevelopment of its store in the town centre, creating 150 local jobs.
The proposed new store would be almost double the size of the existing store, which has been serving the people of Bognor Regis, in one form or another, since it was built in 1982.
