Summer fete for lights

Plenty of prizes will be on offer at the annual summer fete in aid of the summer seafront lights in Bognor Regis.

The illuminations above the promenade will benefit from Sunday's (June 14) event with its host of money-spinners such as a raffle with a host of exciting prizes, games and sideshows.

The fete is open from 2-5pm in the garden of Chestnut in Ellasdale Road.

It is a highlight of the all-volunteer lighting team's annual calendar of fundraising events.

Morrisons and Tesco are among the businesses which are backing the occasion.

Bognor deputy town mayor Sandra Daniels is set to open the event and the town's MP, Nick Gibb, will draw the winning raffle tickets at 4.30pm.
