Speeding hotspots in the area of Bognor Regis seafront are to be monitored by police community support officers.
PCSO Pamela Matthews says in comments to the area's residents the speed of motorists will checked once discussions with traffic police at Chichester have been concluded.
The crackdown on those who ignore speed limits joins action to ticket every vehicle found by the PCSOs to be parked illegally in the local streets.
