THE BOOK CLUB: will meet on December 15 and the book will be The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. They meet at 7.30pm and to enquire where the meet is call Gill on 01580 850965.

FOOTBALL: Good to see the village football team top of the division 5 in the East Sussex League with 21 points. We all hope that Sandhurst keep their good form.

CHURCH SERVICES: The services at the Baptist Church for November 29 are prayer/fasting from 9am to 2pm, Morning Worship 10.30am and the evening meeting at 7pm. On December 3 there is a coffee morning at 10.45am in the church hall and at 7pm Woodland Wide Games on December 4 at Iden Green.
