Football: this year Sandhurst football club is in division four of the Macron, East Sussex, football league, but as I write the side has only one point and eighth from the top. Still some way to go to the end of the season though.

Church services: services at the Baptist Church on October 2 are morning worship, communion at 10:30 AM with an evening meeting at 7 PM. Special offering for the service will go to Asia Link on October 6. Coffee morning will take place on October 6 at 10:40 AM in the church hall. On October 11 the purpose plate lunch takes place from noon to 2 PM. Booking needed (voluntary donation). For more information phone Terry Pickford on 015806 to 200.

The citizens advice bus: this bus no longer visits Sandhurst button adviser with wheels is now available by appointment at the Sandhurst tearooms. Just phone (01892) 617256 to make a time that suits you.

Toddler friendly cafe: a drop-in cafe with toddler group takes place every Wednesday in the mission church (term time only). For more information contact the reverent David Commander, rector, St Nicholas church. Phone (01580) 240658.

Church services: the Anglican Church as a holy Communion service every Tuesday in the mission church at 10 AM.
