Rye man nearly three times over
A 66 year old man was almost three times over the legal drink-drive limit when he crashed his car into a fence at Coastguard Square, Rye Harbour, where he lives.
Gilbert Scott was arrested at 6.15pm on 19 December.
He was banned from driving for 40 months and fined £500 when he appeared at the magistrates court on February 11.
