Puddle repairs force Angmering footbridge closure
Work started today (Monday, February 15) on resurfacing the bridge, over the A259 near the Station Road roundabout.
A temporary island has been placed in the middle of the road , beneath the bridge, to help pedestrians cross the dual carriageway. Normally the bridge carries hundreds of students to The Angmering School every weekday, but this week it is half-term.

West Sussex County Council is having the work carried out to solve the problem of puddles on the bridge. It is expected to take up to five working days to complete, weather permitting, with work in progress from 7.30am-5pm.
