Headteacher Peter Edgington said: “We saw the rubbish was found on Tuesday, April 2. Since then we have been passed between West Sussex and Arun District Council a lot. We're just going round in circles with those conversations and nobody's taking responsibility for it at the moment.”

“The mess is piling up in the carpark it's attracted rats already. We desperately need somebody to come in and remove this because it's a health hazard. It’s also preventing our staff from being able to park too.”

The School Business Manager, Anna Winstanley also commented, saying it’s ‘frustrating’ that nothing has been done as of yet. She also commented, saying: “Parents have been on Facebook commenting on how disappointing the fly-tipping is, it’s not a good look and it’s been here for over two weeks now.

“The children aren't in the car park, but some of them do walk up from the back alley to school to go to and from us to learn. We’ve not had any news or anything about when the rubbish will be removed. The children have asked questions about the rubbish too and want to know why it’s there.”
