Talking about her success in the Youth Music Awards, she said: "I was so shocked to win, I didn’t really prepare myself but it serves as confirmation that the hard work is paying off.

“I’m still very much undiscovered, but I think for my work to be recognised was so important. It’s not easy as an artist, your living and breathing music every day, every time you wake up in the morning and go to sleep. It was nice to have a little pat on the back.”

Youth Music is a national charity funded by National Lottery via Arts Council England, players of People's Postcode Lottery and support from partners and donors.

The multi-talented musician has her fifth song coming out at the end of November to round off a rather busy year of music for her.
