Police and fire service called to incident in Battle
Emergency services were called to an incident in Battle.
A spokesman for East Sussex Fire said, at 11.08am oon Monday (April 13), firefighters from Battle and Hastings were called to Hastings Road, Battle, close to Telham Close.
They were responding to reports of a chimney fire at a residential property, the spokesman said.
Crews used a chimney kit together with the aerial ladder platform and hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, East Sussex Fire added.
