Pictures from the scene showed the car ending up on a grass bank, while the delivery van ended up colliding with front of a house.

An eyewitness, who asked to remain anonymous, said concrete spurs holding up fence posts and a rockery containing massive rocks stopped the van from going through the bay window of the house where a woman was sitting at the time.
