Long queue forms outside Sports Direct in Hastings as shops start to re-open

A long queue formed outside Sports Direct in Hastings at 8.45am this morning as many town centre shops start to re-open.

The queue stretched around the corner toward the seafront.

Debenhams, in Robertson Street re-opend today at 10am.

The clothing and sportswear company is offering a 50 percent discount to NHS workers for the opening day only.

The Hastings branch is one of 374 Sports Direct stores to re-open.

Other shops opening included The Works, in Priory Meadow, which is limiting access to six customers at a time.
