Roscoe, of St Helens Road, wrote articles for the colourful paper and got his friends to send in contributions - giving them deadlines.

The paper contains toy and film reviews, sport, recipes and articles on how to create things as well as a tribute to the NHS and an article from his cousins in New Zealand about returning to school.

Dad Nathan explained: “A couple of weeks ago Roscoe had the fantastic idea of putting a newspaper together - he contacted all of his friends on our street and asked if they would be interested in contributing to it. He decided to call it The Ultimate News! Roscoe is the editor, he gave his friends deadlines and kept in regular contact with them - we have worked together, designing the logo and deciding what order to put everything in and have put together a 32 page newspaper. Roscoe has been very focused and worked so hard on this project. We are very proud of him and all the fantastic contributors. Roscoe and his brother Ezra (aged four) excitedly delivered copies to their friends on our street.”

Roscoe says he wants to be a journalist or famous writer when older and says the NHS article was his proudest moment.
