The Peasmarsh Village Society is organising the usual Clean-up Day in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy on Saturday June 23.

Meet at Brickfields at 9.30am to collect your tabbard, big sack and choose your area to tidy. We finish around 12noon. Don’t forget to wear protective gloves and bring a grabber if you have one - they help with the bending! Children over 7 welcome if accompanied by an adult. Please come along we need you.

Local Artist Carol Mitchell is opening her studio with South East Open Studios this June. She paints with Mixed Media and Watercolour, demonstrations will be taking place as well as the opportunity to see and buy a large variety of work. On Monday July 2 at 2pm at Ferry Road Health Centre, Rye, a Community Diabetes Dietitian will give a talk on Healthy Eating and Nutrition for people with diabetes. This is being organised by the Patient Participation Group; all welcome.

The Peasmarsh Flying Start baby and toddler group is held at the Peasmarsh Memorial Hall every Thursday morning (during term time) from 9.30am-11.30am and costs £2 per family, all welcome.

We are also lucky to have the Flying Start Pre-school which is housed in a purpose built building at Peasmarsh School. The Pre School is open term time only from 9am until 3.30pm. Please ring 01797 230325 and choose option 3 if you would like more information; there are a few spaces available.
