Bingo Night: There will be a charity bingo night at the Cock Inn on 5th March from 6pm. This is in memory of Tony Curd, who sadly passed away in January. His family and friends will be raising funds for donation to the Rye Memorial Care Centre. There will be a raffle on the night and children are welcome.

Murder Mystery: An evening of suspense and mystery will be held for the first time at the Peasmarsh Memorial Hall on Saturday 27th February at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 each (to include a two course supper and bring your own drink). For tickets call 230205 or 230359. Places are limited, but please call if you’re interested.

Allotment Plot: A plot is still available from the Parish Council, for a small rent you can grow your own organic veg. Further details from the parish clerk on 07951 668713 or email [email protected]

Amicus Horizon: The parish council would like to advise residents that plans have been submitted to Rother District Council for the redevelopment of the Maltings. You can view the plans online at http://planweb01.rother.gov.uk/OcellaWeb/planningSearch and enter the reference RR/2016/4/P The parish council will be discussing the proposal at its next meeting on Tuesday 1st March at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall and would welcome residents’ views at this meeting. It is also hoped that a representative from Amicus will be there. If you are unable to attend you may also submit your views online, but it must be done before the beginning of March.
