What was the cost?
I was very interested in Kevin Smith's article about the demolition of the shelter on the seafront at a cost of £8,500 to be paid for by the council tax payers.
Mr Marciniak’s letter last week was even more interesting because Mr Peacock’s window overlooked a bench on the other side of the road, which became much the same nuisance.
After many complaints from Mr Peacock and the other residents it was removed and the site cleaned up.
I didn’t hear Mr Peacock asking who paid for that and how much!
