Taking pride in Worthing's musicians

THOSE of you who stayed at home on to watch X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing made the wrong decision.

The two to three hundred residents who went to St George's Church in East Worthing were given a musical treat by the young, and very talented, musicians from our area.

This was a festive extravaganza with wonderful band music and superb soloists playing a huge variety of music.

So many residents of Worthing, and surrounding area, do not know what a talented band they have in their midst and it really is their loss.

If you want to hear them, and other youth bands from Sussex play, please put Monday, March 29, 2010, in your diary now because at 7.30pm in our Assembly Rooms this band, with the Sir Robert Woodward Academy Junior Band and the Holy Trinity School Swing Band, will be playing in another musical extravaganza.

If that is not enough then how about Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz also appearing.

You can have all of this for the miserly sum of 5.

Please book your tickets now; this show will be a sell out.

Give yourself a treat and support YOUR local and so gifted young people.

Hope to see you there!
