As your report stated, it will indeed make the commute to London quicker and easier.

What that means is that Hastings will be flooded with Londoners who treat our town basically as a dormitory while driving up the price of property by paying prices that local people here cannot possibly afford.

I notice there is no proposal to do anything about the laughably inadequate service to Brighton, where only two coaches are laid on when the rush hour is at its busiest!

Once again the Tories are looking after their rich friends in the city while talking as though they are doing us a great favour. Same old...
