Time for change

I cannot believe the parochialism of people who oppose improvements to the A27.

Our ‘pick and mix’ road systems in the south of England are a shambles. I have driven regularly for years at various times of day from Worthing to Chichester with no guarantee whatsoever of an arrival time.

There should be a southern motorway from Dover/Folkestone to Exeter.

It would reduce congestion on the M25, which we in Sussex have to use to get to Dover. Of course, this is all political. Labour governments gain no votes from resolving it and Conservative governments lose none! Isn’t it time we changed this?
