My son heard a lot of disturbance outside my house, went to look and discovered that Sammy was badly injured.
When I arrived home five minutes later, I had to rush her to the vet's, where they confirmed she had been attacked by a dog.

Hide AdShe was in hospital at Chichester for four or five days and my main concern is that if a dog can do this to a cat, it can do it to a child, and where we live there are a lot of children who play in our park.
I hope the owner has a guilty conscience and realises the implications.
Hopefully, Sammy will be OK and it will not be a child next time.
