Thanks for supporting Blooming great show

ON behalf of the committee of Ore in Bloom, I would like to express through the pages of your newspaper our thanks and appreciation for all the tremendous support we have had from local residents and businesses for our Ore in Bloom project.

We are a fledgling voluntary organisation en tirely reliant on the goodwill and support of the people of Ore and the wider Hastings community, and we have not found this help wanting.

Our Royal Horticultural Society affiliated group began life just over a year ago and in that short time we have helped build a new public flower garden at the Ore Centre, planted fruit trees on the village green, put in large decorative planters at the traffic Islands on the Old London Road, and only this week have put up 20 hanging baskets through the centre of Ore.
