Rational altruism

AT last we have the Prime Minister speaking out against multiculturalism.

In fact the term used is absurd. There is nothing wrong with a variety of cultures, although these can only be securely fostered in separate countries.

It is moral relativism that Mr Cameron should be talking about. Either this country is to be subject to a particular religion and its moral code, or we reject all religions with bigoted moral codes, and stand up for democracy as rational altruism.

It may be assumed the founder of Christianity believed in sensible values.

Those religions that subscribe to altruism as opposed to pure individualism and to bigoted authoritarianism are tolerable.
