This is always a popular event and this year was no exception with the Hall filled to bursting point.

The evening opened with a performance of the extremely difficult vocal ensemble ‘Hello’ from ‘The Book Of Mormon’, superbly executed by Alex Bell, Max Paterson, Ben Whiteley, Will Evans, Joe Henderson, Nick Voget and Henry Skipton-Carter – names to watch out for in the future. There were performances from a number of rock bands, singing groups, duets, amusing drama and rousing versions of ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ ‘Lady Marmalade’ and ‘Thriller’ from the School Band.

The whole event was brought together by host and Year 9 pupil, Kieran Boulton, who delighted the audience with his quick -witted and quirky humour. The evening, which showcased some of the superb talent on offer here at The Forest School culminated in a breath-taking performance of ‘Stars’ in four part harmony and whole cast performance of ‘One Day More’ from the forthcoming schools’ production of ‘Les Miserables’ with guests from Millais School. The whole thing was creatively supported by our talented tech team who did a wonderful job of ensuring that the visual and audio aspects remained professional at all times. With Pimms and strawberries served during the interval this was a truly outstanding event in the school calendar.
