An ode to the saga of the potholes

HEARING on local radio that the ‘pothole saga’ still goes on, relating to drivers receiving horrendous damage to their vehicles, I thought the enclosed poem appropriate.

Potholes

The bane of life for drivers,

Four wheels or just two,

Holes the size of craters

Lay in wait for you.

They patch them up

Here and there, temporarily

Which quickly breaks, disintegrates

Almost immediately.

Damages tyres, suspension

All require attention - at a cost,

Will we be refunded

For the loss!
