Highest praise for kindness of refuse collectors

Its GOOD news time - we hear so many bad stories, now we have a good one.

During the recent bad weather, I was silly enough to fall over, unhurt but unfortunate to lose the purse from my pocket, which contained my car and house keys, and a small sum of money.

After two hours I discovered the loss and retraced my steps but no purse, I notified the local post office, in case some kind soul should hand them in.

Late in the afternoon, my credit card insurance contacted me to say they had been found and handed in, and could I contact the refuse services at Lancing.

The refuse collector had found them soon after my fall, and the offices had taken the trouble to find the owner, they then delivered them to my house the next day, with nothing missing, how was that for service.

We see so many reports of bad refuse collectors, that I thought they should receive some praise for their good work.

I also have to add we have never had any trouble with the teams of workers in our area.

It was worth falling over to find out how kind people can be.
