'˜Energies beyond our understanding'

WE were surprised that you did not give more prominence to Iain Exley's remarkable photo of the snow circles in Quarry Terrace.

Such phenomena have appeared in recent years in Russia and Holland but not, as far, as we are aware, anywhere else in Britain this year.

Like most crop circles they are rarely man-made and are examples of activity by energies beyond our understanding.

That Hastings should have been marked out in this way is surely something to be taken seriously.
