A27: Let's wait for the cause
PERHAPS before everyone jumps on the speed limit bandwagon (MPs included), we should wait to discover the cause of this tragic accident.
It may be that a speed limit is a good idea on this stretch of road, though the Highways Agency says not, and citing accidents at Offington where conditions are very different confuse the issue.
Am I the only reader for whom the words "94-year-old driver" ring alarm bells?
Perhaps we should wait to hear what the coroner has to say.
